Waiting on the World to Change

John Mayer says it well – many of us are waiting on the world to change. And a quick glance at the news or your computer monitor is all it takes to understand why. Each day we are filled with the sights and sounds of a world in chaos. We see devastation we can’t repair, tragedies we can’t prevent, illnesses we can’t cure and we often feel overwhelmed. We want a better world but we feel powerless to do anything about it. And so we wait for things to change.
But what happens when the changes we hope for are not the changes we get? Do we continue to wait? Or can we do more? What if we could change just one, small thing? And what if we discovered that a singular change has the ability to change everything?
